Katie Hopkins tweeted " Sending us Ebola bombs in the form of sweaty Glaswegians just isn't cricket ". and then " Glaswegian Ebola patient moved to Londons Royal Free hospital. Not so independent when it matters most are we Jocksville? ".
So do you think that this media created anti human cold nasty shit stiring shark should be allowed to spew her evil hate, or should free speech not have a limit ?.
I think that freedom of speech must have some restraint and a touch of intelligence to it because without that life would become a constant cussing game that no one benefits from.
Surely we live in a slightly better and slightly more intelligent country than America who's many peeps are happy to sit and listen to stupid uneducated commentators such as the ridiculous Rush Limbaugh and Anne Coulter .
By the way the brilliant young Scottish lady who selflessly went to Africa to help out and defend the world against this terrible disease is now worsening in health, her condition has deteriorated and she may die, and i for one hope that if she does die ( God forbid) that it will be a nail in the coffin of Katie Hopkins but i please God she does not die because this world is lacking in the type of humanity she has to offer.

The bird at my work is like Katie Hopkins. I don't think they believe what they say, they just argue/say things as a way of getting attention or something.
She has argued the following
*Borneo is NOT north of Australia, and about the same distance between Mexico and Canada....despite being shown a world atlas.
*The shard is not east of my window and can be seen from my work. Despite a compass proving it was the correct direction to central london.

I read somewhere she was a character and not an actual person? I mean, she's real obviously, but this Katie Hopkins is a persona played by an actor.
I remember telling this to someone and then failing miserably to find any evidence of my claim.
Anyone else able to shed any light on it?

Hopkins is a nasty, horrible piece of work but people reacting in this way just increases her profile and she is so in love with herself that any publicity is good publicity.
What she did does not advocate killing anyone etc so she has the right to free speech, she doesn't go over the line of what should be legal.
She is just a scummy #### who would do the world a favour if she remained silent for the rest of her life.

On the subject of treatment for this disease, I'd much rather it was treated at source - if that means funding and building the facilities IN those countries, then so be it.
The problem is, though, that in the majority of countries that are natural hosts to these illnesses, a majority, if not all, are run by a privileges elite, and, once they've had their cut, anything left to do what it was originally intended to do is as good as worthless.
(This may also be the reason many immigrants choose to up sticks and move to a first world country: they KNOW the changes and improvements they'd like to see will never, ever happen back home under their current political set-up...and, no, voting makes bugger all difference).
Maybe the answer is some sort of "staging" country, under the -control of the UN/EU to provide free-at-point-of-delivery to anybody. Somewhere that can hold in appropriate quarantine people moving from a disease source to a disease free nation.
Belgium, anyone?
